St44-3 steel plate is equivalent to EN:FE430 D1,BS1449:43D,DIN17100:st44-3N and UNI:FE430D. St44-3 steel plate not intended for heat treatment - apart from stress-reliening heat treatment and normalizing.
St44-3 steel plate is used in many applications, combining good welding properties with guaranteed strengths. St44-3 steel plate is applies to steel sections, steel bars, flat products seamless and welded, square and rectangular hollow sections and semi-finished products in the general structural steels.
