What is SUS 316?
SUS 316, also known as 316 stainless steel, is a grade of stainless steel produced in accordance with the American ASTM standard, equivalent to our country's 0Cr17Ni12Mo2 stainless steel. The following is a detailed description of the SUS 316:
SUS 316 FeaturesPlasticity, toughness, cold denaturation, good welding process performance.
Excellent high temperature strength.Due to the low carbon content and containing 2% to 3% molybdenum (Mo), it improves the corrosion resistance of reducing salts and various inorganic acids and organic acids, bases and salts.
Excellent work hardening (weak magnetic after processing), non-magnetic in solid solution state.Cold rolled products have good appearance gloss.
